Funeral services for Betty Jumper Leonard are set for 6:30pm on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 4pm - 6:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11am. Rev. Merl Dixon, Bro. Warren Jones and Bro. Alan Parker will officiate the service. Born February 27, 1936 in Alcorn County Mrs. Leonard was a factory worker and a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Danny Leonard of Corinth; two grandchildren, Marlena Leonard and Micalya Leonard; one great grandchild, Cayden Leonard; brother, W. R. Jumper and wife Sara of Muscle Shoals, AL.; sisters, Darnell Darwin and husband Lee of Florence, AL., Willie Wilbanks and husband Gaylon of Crystal Springs, MS. and Gwenda Hewlette and husband Richard of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Leonard; father, Columbus Jumper and mother, Ruby Thrasher Jumper.
