A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Hauser on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church with Father Mario officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth National Cemetery at 1:00pm. Visitation will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 from 5:00pm -8:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home. Betty Ann was born January 16, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William and Catherine Fischer McAroy. She was a real estate agent for Corinth Realty for 20 years and a homemaker. Betty Ann ministered to people in many ways including the Amen Food Pantry, as a MRHC Pink Lady, the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Project Homestead, FEMA, Corinth Board of Realtors, Corinth Area Arts Council, a member of the Red Hat Club and her church choir. She was also a Cub Scout Den mother and a Brownie and Junior Girl Scout Leader. Betty Ann was of the Catholic faith and a member of St James Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Michael R. Hauser of Corinth and David R. Hauser of Corinth; her daughters, Melinda “Mindy” A. Fleming and husband Tony D. of Corinth, Amy E Lovelace and husband Jimmy D. of Iuka and Angela “Angie” M. McKee and husband Eddie of Counce, TN; 6 grandchildren, Stephen R. Hauser and wife Diana of Corinth, Holly J. Fleming of Starkville, Brittany E. Lovelace of Iuka, Lisa N. Woods and husband Jason of Florence, AL, Trevor K. Taylor of Counce and Sarah A. Pace and husband Joseph of Corinth; 3 great grandchildren, Anna Danielle “Danni”, Adalyn Ann “Ady”, Joseph Abel, Abigail Paige and Allie Grace; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert J. Hauser; parents, William and Catherine Fischer McAroy and her sister, Mary Ann Beatsch.
