Funeral services for Betty M. Christian, 82 of Corinth are set for Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Bro. Dyer Harbor will officiate the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Daniels, Billy Green Rogers, Aaron Chrisitan, Jared Christian and Blaine Edwards. Born February 1, 1942 in Starkville, MS., Mrs. Christian passed from this life on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Betty was a housewife who enjoyed going to the drag races with her husband, bowling, watching NASCAR, MS State Football and Going to Sycamore, Il. to the Pumpkin Festival. She loved her church and her Sunday School Class. The thing she loved the most was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty is survived by her sons, Danny Christian (Sherry) and Tommy Christian ( Cindi); daughter, Susan Edwards (Jim); 8 grandchildren, Amy Woodard (Gary), Haley Reeves (Steven), Leslie Christian , Aaron Christian (Bayle), Jared Christian (Sarah), Blaine Edwards, Lilia Edwards and Elena Edwards; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Grady T, Monts (Anita) and Garry Monts (Debbie); sister-in-law; Maude Dean Cook; nephews and nieces, Jessica Urell (Matt), John Monts, Mike Cook, Craig Cook (Mary) and Tammy Akers; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dan Christian, Sr.; father, Grady Monts and mother, Sybol Monts. Magnolia Funeral home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Betty M.
