Services for Bertie Mauney, 88, of Corinth, are set for 2 pm Monday at Magnolia Funeral Home South Chapel with burial at Magnolia Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 1 pm until the service. Ms. Mauney died Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Born June 1, 1932, she retired as a machine operator at Kellogs (ITT) Cortelco after 34 years of service. She was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. She loved playing bingo with the senior citizens group and watching game shows, especially "The Price Is Right" and "Wheel of Fortune". She enjoyed working word books and visiting with her grands and great-grands. Survivors are a daughter, Cathey Mask and husband Danny of Corinth; a sister, Elora McNeer of Amarillo, TX; three grandchildren, Tony Mask (Sheila), Kelly Warren (Bryan) and Teddy Mask (Val); 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Odeane Sampson and Clara Porter both of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan Thrasher and Edna Duncan Thrasher; her sisters, Polly Drewery and Ilene Drewery; a great-grandson; and an infant brother.
