Beatrice Talley Phillips

A Celebration of Life service for Beatrice Talley Phillips, 96 of Corinth is set for Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 10:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born August 13, 1921 in Corinth, Beatrice passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at her home. She was a home maker, who loved her family and friends and enjoyed working with her beautiful flowers, going shopping, having her hair done and eating lunch with her son, Freddy. Beatrice was humble and compassionate and she touched the lives of many people. She was also a very faithful wife for 52 years. Beatrice was of the Baptist faith and a member of West Corinth Baptist Church. In her last years of life, Beatrice continued to live in her own home, where she received exceptional care and devotion from her son and two very special ladies. Tabitha Sharp’s love and tireless care made every day easier. She was more than a caregiver for Beatrice, she became family and was loved as her own. Shelly Warren also provided exceptional care for Beatrice and had a lively spirit that helped brighten her days. Beatrice is survived by her son, Freddy Brooks Phillips and wife Sharon of Corinth; daughter-in-law, Elois Phillips of Corinth; 4 grandchildren, Patti Bishop and husband David, John Phillips and wife Kelly , Mike Phillips and wife Dianne all of Corinth and Brooke Norris and husband Cory of Selmer, TN; 6 great grandchildren, Bradley Bishop and wife Lindsay , Brooks Bishop, Shelby Phillips, Lauren Phillips, Olivia Philllips and Ella Norris; 1 great great grandson, Griffin Bishop; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, H. Brooks Phillips; son, Jimmy Phillips; father, Lester Talley; mother, Minnie Mills; brother, Quinton Talley and sister, Gladys Huggins. John Phillips will deliver the eulogy and Bro. Seth Kirkland will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be David Bishop, John Phillips, Mike Phillips, Cory Norris, Bradley Bishop, Brooks Bishop and Eddie Talley.
