Barbara Johnson, 85, of Potts Camp, MS, formerly of Booneville, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. She was born in Wichita Falls, TX on August 17, 1938, to the late A.B. and Leona Stumbaugh Hudson, was of the Baptist faith and worked as a nurse for many years. Barbara enjoyed fishing, being outdoors on her farm with Charles and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her flowers, gardening, animals and all things nature. She enjoyed staying up late and doing arts and crafts with her great granddaughter, Brooklyn. She loved movies, especially dramas and musicals. Barbara enjoyed simple living and taking care of the ones she loved. She longed to be reunited with her husband, Charles Johnson, who passed away in 2018 and her son, Randall Patrick who passed away in 1996. She will forever be missed by those who loved her. Visitation is scheduled from 1 pm till service time, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. A Celebration of Life Service for Barbara will be Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 2 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home - South officiated by Bro. Warren Jones. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens. Magnolia Funeral Home - South is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Barbara’s memory include her sons, Johnny Patrick, and Michael Calvin Patrick; her daughter, Debra Martin; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her brothers, Jerry Walker, Gordon Walker Jr., and Christopher Bacher; her sister, Edna Fay Haycraft; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Charles Johnson; her son, Gordon Randal Patrick; her brothers, Donald Hudson, Robert Hudson, David Hudson, and Melvin Bacher; and her sister, Helen Bacher.
