Avis Morine Bennett Crum

Avis Morine Bennett Crum, 84, of Walnut, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Tippah County, MS on May 9, 1931 to the late Johnny Young and Roxie Wilbanks Bennett. Morine was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church. She enjoyed going to church and fellowshipping and spending time with her grandchildren. Morine also loved to travel. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 and from 10 AM till service time Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church. A celebration of Morine's life will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11 AM at Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church officiated by Rev. Jessie Cutrer. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery . Magnolia Funeral Home is caring for the family. Those left to honor Morine's memory include her husband of 65 years: Freid Tyson Crum of Walnut, MS; her sons: Gary E. Crum (Beady) of Walnut, MS and Cary T. Crum (Pam) of Chesapeake, VA; 9 grandchildren: Jason Wilbanks (Laura), Julie Honeycutt (Mike), Shelby Wilbanks (Jessie), Vicky Moore (Matt), Teresa Crum, Tonya Newman (Brent), Jennifer Wilhite (Clint), Mike Crum, and Amy Crawford (Bradley); 15 great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law: Kathy Waldrop (Wendel); her son-in-law: Jack Brown; her sister-in-law: Edna Bennett of Walnut, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son: Rocky E. Crum; her daughter: Audrey Diane Crum Brown; her infant daughter: Vickie Jo Crum; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother: Willie Bennett; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Roy Bennett (Sybil), James Bennett (Mary), and R.J.
