He would have started his junior year at Corinth High School this year. He loved the Corinth soccer program and was a great example of hard work, tenacity and attitude, according to his soccer coach, Gregg Parker, “ I can’t think of a time that he gave anything but the best he had.” Parker described Austin as a quality Christian young man who left a positive effect on the people around him. He had tireless energy and loved being with his friends and family. He was respected as a teammate, as a loyal friend and known as a genuinely nice guy. Austin was an avid Ole Miss Football fan. Church Affiliation: He was a very active member of Oakland Baptist Church. He was a member of the Oakland Youth Group and the Oakland Drama Team. If the doors were open, Austin was there. He clearly loved his friends and family.
