Ashley Michele Privett, 35 years 7 months 5 days, of Belden, MS passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born in Corinth, Mississippi alongside her twin sister, Chasity Dawn Privett, on September 8, 1986, to Terry and Vicki Privett. Ashley was Ambassador for March of Dimes, a recipient of Make-A-Wish and a Le Bonheur baby. She was a Christian and member of Tate Baptist Church. Ashley graduated from Corinth High School in 2005. She then attended Northeast Mississippi Community College and Blue Mountain College where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Ashley began volunteering in 2012 at Family Resource Center in Tupelo where she eventually became employed as a client intake coordinator. In 2015, Ashley moved to the Children's Advocacy Center where she served as a victim’s advocate as well as on the ARC Board. Ashley had accepted a position on the Board of Directors at the North Mississippi Connect Center. Ashley loved spending time with her twin sister and best friend, Chasity. She also enjoyed going on vacation with her family and friends and spending time at Pickwick. She always loved staying at her parents’ cabin and riding the boat and wave runner. Ashley always helped anybody she came in contact with regardless the situation. She had a multitude of friends that she loved and that loved her. Her main goal in this life was to make sure everybody in this world felt special. She truly lit up any room she ever walked in and positively touched so many lives with her contagious smile and amazing personality.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 17, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Tate Baptist Church in Corinth. A service celebrating Ashley’s life will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Tate Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Mickey Trammel. Pallbearers include Blake Robinson, Matthew Clement, Tyler Clement, Blake Richardson, Josh Pickle and Zach Pickle. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Ashley’s memory include her parents, Terry and Vicki Privett of Corinth, MS; her twin sister and best friend who devoted her life to Ashley, Chasity Privett of Belden, MS; maternal grandfather, Bobby Pickle of Selmer, TN; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Ellen Privett of Corinth, MS; special friend, Blake Richardson; longtime boyfriend, Brad Wurth; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Ashley was welcomed to her heavenly home by her maternal grandmother, Patsy Pickle.
