A Celebration of Life service for Michael Anthony Shelton, 60 of Corinth, MS, will be Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Pinecrest Baptist Church with interment to follow at Valley of the Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home and Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 12:00 noon until service time at Pinecrest Baptist Church. Mr. Shelton passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at his residence in Corinth, MS. He was born May 5, 1959 in Corinth, MS to Clarence Shelton and Vera Gene Brewer Shelton. He was a self employed carpenter and was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Anthony is survived by his mother, Vera Gene Shelton of Corinth, MS; his brothers, Eddie Shelton of Tupelo, MS and Nathan Shelton of Corinth, MS; his sisters, Rhonda Hopple of Corinth, MS and Brenda Watkins (Mark) of Glen, MS; special uncle, Vernon Brewer of Counce, TN, special aunt, Nola Houston of Michie, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence "Pete" Shelton; his sisters, Sherry Guyton and Peggy Sue Shelton; his maternal grandfather, Tellie Brewer; his maternal grandmother, Beulah Brewer; his paternal grandfather, Grover Shelton and his paternal grandmother, Ethel Shelton. Pallbearers will be Lee Shelton, Scott Hopple, Noah Johnson, David Hopple, Daniel McDonald and Harold Guyton. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Anthony Shelton.
