Annie Margaret Wallis Mauney, 87, of Corinth, MS passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. She was born on May 26, 1929, to Ira Clovis and Kate Morris Wallis. She married Glenn Randolph Mauney on March 8, 1947. She was a longtime member of South Corinth Baptist Church. She was an employee of ITT for several years. Annie was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a kind friend.
A memorial service will be held at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Corinth, MS at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 8, 2016 with Brother Charles Stephenson and Brother Robert Walker officiating. Her grandson Phillip Mauney will give the eulogy. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in the Dry Creek Community. Visitation is Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Thursday, September 8, 2016 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Glenn Mauney; her son, Tommy Mauney and wife Marcia of Corinth, MS; her daughter, Ann Mauney Little and husband Harold of Glen, MS; her six grandchildren: Clint Mauney and wife Amy of Mooreville, MS; Brandy Smith of Corinth, MS; Cliff Little and wife Jana of Glen, MS; Anna Little Morris and husband Hunter of Brandon, MS; Phillip Mauney of Corinth, MS; Matt Mauney and wife Heather of Pickwick, TN; her daughter-in-law, Jill Holt Mauney; her brothers- and sisters-in-law: Imogene Hardon; T.C. Mauney, Jr. and wife Juanita; Betty Jean Mauney; and Barbara Huddleston and husband Jerry; her 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Phil Mauney; her parent Ira and Kate Wallis; her parents-in-law, T.C. Mauney, Sr. and wife Mae; her brother, Bob Wallis and wife Lillie; her brother, Jackie Wallis; her sister Wanda Jean Wallis Dees and husband James Irvin; and brothers-in-law, Jessie Hardon and Carl Dane Mauney.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Mauney, Matt Mauney, Clint Mauney, Bronson Mauney, Cliff Little and Hunter Morris.
