A Celebration of Life Service for Ann Ross, 81, of Corinth, MS will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel officiated by Bro. John Little and Bro. Warren Jones with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 9:30 AM till service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Ann was born in Corinth on May 21, 1942 to the late Bro. Otha and Annis Wallace and passed away on January 1, 2024. She worked as an LPN in the medical field at various locations including the office of Dr. Frank Davis, Magnolia Hospital, Care Inn, Whitfield Nursing Home and Vendo. She enjoyed cooking and canning but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Soyrietta D. Valentine and husband Mark; her son-in-law, Brian Gardner; her grandchildren, Coleman Ross Gardner (Emily), William “Will” Valentine (Johnna), and John Wallace Valentine; her brother, Ronnie Wallace (Debbie); her sister, Lynda Wall (Steve); her sisters-in-law, Margaret Wallace and Vera King; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband of 65 years, Melvin Ross; her daughter, Frieda Gardner; and her brother, Travis Wallace. In lieu flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International.
