Please join us for a "Celebration of Life" for the late Andrew Davis on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 2pm-5pm. Our home will be open to anyone that would like to stop by and say his or her final farewells as well as share a loving memory of Andrew. Andrew passed on Monday, January 6, 2020 .
We would love to hear all of your memories of our Andrew. Help us celebrate a life well-lived. We will have a memory book where you can write a private goodbye to Andrew during this time. We will serve light refreshments.
In lieu of flowers, please bring a non-perishable food item(s) we can donate it in his name to the Amen Food Pantry of the First Methodist Church of Corinth. Any items or memories you'd like to share of Andrew will be well received and we'd be grateful to hear about your experience with him or just to share a hug with you on this day. Andrew's ashes will be laid to rest at a later date in the Pinecrest Cemetery of DeKalb, Mississippi. His urn will be on display.

Andrew Davis,63 of Corinth, MS, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 in Rienzi, MS. He was born January 12, 1956 in Houston, MS to George Darrel Davis and Peggy Ann Newby Davis. Mr. Davis was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved carpentry work. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed spending time restoring old cars. He was always willing to lend a hand of help to anyone in need and brought a smile to everyone's face who knew him. Andrew is survived by his wife of 35 years, Katherine Limerick Davis of Corinth, MS; his sons, Eric Mason and wife Sandi of Collinsville, MS, Ryan Davis of Meridian, MS and Neal Davis of Corinth, MS; his daughter, Libby Davis of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Karis Austin Mason and Kinley Reese Mason; his brothers, Pastor James Harvey Davis and wife Dottsie of Boswell, PA and Leonard Davis of Hattiesburg, MS; his sister, Jovonia Davis of Little Rock, MS; half siblings, Gabriel, Alberto and Lisa Davis; brother-in-law, Van Limerick of Malakoff, TX; close friends, Buddy Shumaker, Johnny Norton and so many more; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, a host of friends, numerous pets and his favorite furry friend, his calico cat, Lucy. He was preceded in death by his father, George Darrel Davis and his mother, Peggy Ann Newby Davis. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Amen Food Pantry through First United Methodist Church of Corinth, MS. Magnolia Funeral home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Andrew Davis.
