Funeral services for Anas Ray Cartwright, 71 of Pickwick who resided in Goodlettsville, TN are set for Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home -EAST with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Iuka. Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2025 from 11am -2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Sonya Cartwright, Lori Cartwright and Ronnie Cartwright will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be David Gafford, Johnny Bryan, Jacky Mayhall, Nicky Myers, Shannon Hardin, Treston Hardin, David Smith and Robert Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Mayhall, Greg Miller, David Byrd and Randy Hutchings. Born September 11, 1953 in Booneville, MS., Mr. Cartwright passed from this life on Friday, February 7, 2025 at his home in Goodlettsville, TN. He was a retired self employed truck driver. Anas Ray was a member of Hillview Baptist Church in Dickson, TN. He loved his family and enjoyed watching football and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anas Ray is survived by his wife of 52 years, Benita A. Cartwright; daughters, Lori Carwright (Sarah) and Sonya Cartwright (Nikki); 2 grandchildren, Johnny Bryan (Laura) and Joshua Gafford (Amanda); 3 great grandchildren, Isabella Bryan, Jackson Bryan and Hudson Bryan; brothers, Ronnie Cartwright (Carla) and Bob Cartwright (Carol); other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Cartwright and mother, Thelma Parsons Cartwright. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Anas Ray Cartwright.
