Funeral services for Amos A. Talley, 90 of Humbolt, TN are set for Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST with interment in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Rodney Whittemore and Jeff Talley officiating the service. Born July 13, 1934 in Kossuth, MS., Mr. Talley passed from this life on Friday, February 14, 2025 in Humboldt, Tennessee, where he was a resident of the Tennessee State Veterans Home. Amos retired as a Shipping Clerk from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 25 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and anything related to auto mechanics. Amos was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He served in the U.S. Army as a mechanic from 1956-1958. Amos is survived by his son, Jeff Talley (Haley); grandson, Gabriel Adam Talley; granddaughter, Grace Ariel Talley; brother, Jimmy Talley (Susan); sister, Mary Wooley; sister-in-law, Sandra Talley; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Ricketts Talley; father, Lee Roy Talley; mother, Viola Rodgers Talley; brothers, Durward Talley (Ruth) and Leamon Talley; sisters, Mildred Strickland (Charles) and Frances Dixon and his brother-in-law, Pete Wooley. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Amos A. Talley.
