Allen B. Weeks

Allen B. "Ben" Weeks passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS at the age of 86. Mr. Weeks was born April 20, 1925 in Alcorn County, MS to the late Doss H. and Della Garrett Weeks. He retired from ITT Telecom with 23 years of service as a coil winder. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, who fought in the following campaigns, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. He also received the following decorations, EAMETO medal, Good Conduct Medal and WWII Victory Medal. He was a member of Tate Baptist Church. Mr. Weeks is survived by his wife of 63 years: Mary Lee Plaxico Weeks – Corinth, MS Sons: Terry Weeks – Memphis, TN; Mark Weeks and wife Michelle – Baton Rouge, LA Daughter: Debbie Miller and husband Barry- Huntingdon Beach, CA 5 Grandchildren: John Talley and wife Rose, Amy Bryson and husband Nick, Meagan Pugh and husband David, Sophie Weeks, Kate Weeks Great Grandson: Jake Bryson Several Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives and a host of friends He was welcomed to heaven by his Parents: Doss H. and Della Garrett Weeks Brother: Doss H.
