Sadie Mae Meteer

Sadie Mae Meteer, 84, of Corinth, Mississippi, died Friday, May 15, 2015, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born on September 6, 1930 to the late Looney and Daisy McLain. She was a member Salem Christian Church and worked at several factories including ITT. Visitation is scheduled for 6 until 9 PM on Monday, May 18, 2015 and from 10 AM until service time on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Dennis Smith. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Gary Mansel, Chris Kinney, Michael Humphrey, Jerry Meadows, Mark Talley and Brian Blount. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include her son: Randal Meteer of Corinth, MS; her grandchildren: Kyna Talley and husband Mark, Tammie Blount and husband Brian, Wyatt Hymel, Beth James, Jessica Hymel and Makayla Meteer; her great grandchildren: Samantha Talley, Sara Talley, Leighana James, Bryson Hymel, Paityn Davis and Baylee Hymel; a niece: Nell Meeter Foster; a nephew: Jerry Dale Meadows; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Adolph Meteer; sons: James Van Meteer and James Ray Meteer; daughters: Becky Harville and Linda Meteer Hymel; her sisters: Lila Faye Meadows and Gladys Lantern; two brothers: Hoyt McLain and Howard McLain and by her parents: Looney and Daisy McLain.
