Linda Kay Peavy, 68, of Corinth, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born on October 1, 1948 in Columbia, MS to the late William Glen Russell and Hazel Pauline Price Russell. She worked many years in public relations for various companies. Linda’s life could be summed up in the word love. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved everyone she came in contact with. She was of the Christian faith and was loved by all of her family. A celebration of life service is set for 2:00pm, Monday, January 30, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 11:00am until service time Monday. Linda is survived by her son, Joe Peavy, Jr. and Donna of Corinth; daughter, Jennifer Wood and husband Donnie of Corinth; five grandchildren, Brett Peavy and wife Savannah, D.J. Wiley and wife Savannah, Camille Roseberry and husband Marvin, Hunter Peavy and Reece Peavy; six great-grandchildren, Maci Peavy, Logan Wiley, Maddon Peavy, Kalynn Roseberry, Gunner Roseberry and Shaw Peavy; sister-in-law, Anne Russell; special friend, Kevin Forbes; other relatives and host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mack Russell; sister, Helen Leo; granddaughter, Autumn Cook; nephew, Gary “Grezzy” Glidewell; niece, Shannon Merritt. Serving as pallbearers will be D.J. Wiley, Billy Bass, Kade Parker, Marvin Roseberry and Shaun Le. Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service.
